Lower Eagle PM
intermediate x
Rivers with Class I - II water interspersed with Class III rapids: waves 2-3 feet high, passageways contain some obstacles. Challenging rapids but not overwhelming. Unintentionally falling out of the raft may mean an uncomfortable "swim".
Best for adventurous first-timers, rafting for the widest range of people.

The Lower Eagle Class II-III is a great introduction for first-time rafters with a sense of adventure. Unlike it's western counter-parts, the Eagle River is not dam-controlled. Therefore, this river demonstrates the classic mood swings of Spring. Lively rapids are spread throughout this section to keep the action going. Minimum age varies with water levels, so please call our office for age limits if you have younger members of your family joining you.
