Rivers with Class I - II water interspersed with Class III rapids: waves 2-3 feet high, passageways contain some obstacles. Challenging rapids but not overwhelming. Unintentionally falling out of the raft may mean an uncomfortable "swim".
Best for adventurous first-timers, rafting for the widest range of people.

The Middle Eagle is one of the most fun sections of this beautiful river! Continuous class III+ (IV) rapids throughout this 12 mile trip. Rapids like "Bob's Hole" and the "Edwards Mile" will surely get your heart giong. Action-packed! Only 10 minutes away from Vail and Beaver Creek.
